As of 2018, direct line from Belgrade to Beijing - Direct plane line likely to be introduced

Chinese airline Hainan Airlines is likely to open the Belgrade-Beijing direct line next year. This is, according to Politika, agreed during the last visit of the delegation of this company to Serbia. Until this happens, capitals of Serbia and China will be connected as of September 15 through flights over Prague.

HNA Group, which belongs to Hainan Airlines, is one of the members of the Chinese consortium which stepped into the toughest race for concession management of Nikola Tesla Airport.

Minister of trade, tourism and telecommunications Rasim Ljajic says that there are still details that are being negotiated, but that it is now definite this line will be opened.
