Potential Chinese partner at RTB Bor - Company name - a secret for the moment

Representatives of the country's largest Chinese state-owned copper and gold mining company, together with partners from Chinese private investment and management agency, visited Mining-Smelter Basin Bor on Friday (June 23, 2017), the company said without stating the name of a potential Chinese partner.

In discussion with GM, Blagoje Spaskovski, it was emphasized, among other things, that this Chinese company is in Serbia and Bor for the first time, at the official request of China, "which wants that their largest state company starts cooperation with RTB Bor", announced the Bor copper basin.

- Our country would like to step into cooperation with RTB Bohr and that is why we are here - director of investment in mining of Chinese companies said.

After discussion with the management of RTB Bor, which State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Dragan Stevanović, attended, guests from China toured open pit mine Veliki Krivelj and its flotation, a new smelter, a sulfuric acid factory and an electrolysis plant.
