"Monus" invests 9m EUR in cigarette production

- About 9m EUR will be invested this and next year in Cigarette factory "Monus" in Inđija, which operates within company "Invej" - said the Executive Manager of "Invej", Stanko Tomović, today (July 2, 2008).

- The Management of "Monus" decided for additional investments in modernization of the factory and broadening of capacities, although the machines, worth about 60m EUR, are still new and production exceeds 11,000 tons of tobacco per year - said Tomović.

- The plan is that the sales in 2008 are 20% larger than in 2007 and expected profit amounts to 261m RSD - said Tomović.
