Comtrade and Chinese BeiDou will set up a joint venture in China to manage business with the joint forces.
Serbian IT giant signed, as Telegraph.rs reports, a contract on cooperation with Chinese satellite navigation system BeiDou (COMPASS)which means that Serbian software will, for the first time, find its application - in the universe.BeiDou is a Chinese satellite navigation system consisting of two families of operational satellites. It is typical for the fact that satellites are in geostationary orbit, and thus for now cover only certain territory of the Earth's surface. It is expected that BeiDou navigation system will cover entire planet by 2020.The agreement implies that Comtrade and BeiDou in China will set up a joint venture to operate business jointly. Two giants will cooperate in the field of applications for global satellite systems, as well as on the project of applications for managing large quantities of data. Also, Comtrade and Beidou will focus on development of satellite communications in Europe, South America and Africa.
