YouTube has new video view option of 360 degrees

YouTube will soon provide access to new data collected during the analysis of video views of 360 degrees, The Verge, reports.

YouTube videos will show to video makers exact spatial parts of videos to which most viewers pay attention to and which are most viewed during entire 360 degrees video content duration.

Data will be represented in heat map style, so most viewed video field will be marked by appropriate strong color whose hue changes depending on attractiveness to a viewer's eye. The option will be available to users whose video is has more thousand views.

The main objective of Google's platform is to help developers to realize through analysis which parts of the video are most profitable and increase quality of future content.

Currently, video content recorded by cameras whose lenses "catch" an environment of 360 degrees can best be viewed through VR device but watching is possible through classic displays with additional physical rotation.
