Unsuccessful privatization of ASP "7. juli" - Agency broke contract with Mile Jerković

Privatization Agency has broken the contract with Mile Jerković from Karađorđevo on purchase of šabac-based company "7. juli".

Not even afterNi posle produženog roka od 60 dana, Jerković did not pay the second of total of 6 installments not even after the extended deadline of 60 days and he did not submit the evidence to the Agency that he fulfilled obligations towards workers and state-owned funds.

Jerković bought "7. juli" on auction on March 14, 2007, for 48m RSD, but he also took over obligation to invest 22.5m RSD in the primary field of work of the company.

According to the words of President of the šabac company, Svetozar Topalović, the buyer did not provide salaries, allowances and other basic things in the past period. According to Topalović, the only thing that the workers were receiving for the whole year were advanced payments, which ranged between 7,000 and 12,000 RSD.
