Sale of Jugoremedija on hold - Election of new Prime Minister delays search for buyer

Property of Zrenjanin-based pharmaceutical factory Jugoremedija in bankruptcy, most likely, will not so quickly step into sales procedure and finding new buyer and potential investor.The Creditors’ Committee has previously given its consent that Jugoremedija’s property, estimated at EUR 32 m, or about RSD 4 billion, is sold as a legal entity, but that some procedural difficulties popped up.- Some procedural things are left to be managed which are the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, and that for the moment will not go too fast because selection of a new prime minister, who may change Ministry of Health is awaited. Therefore, I think it will take some time before sale of Jugoremedija is announced – Zrenjan’s trustee in bankruptcy of the plant, Radovan Savic, says for the portal.
Savic added that he has not yet decided on sales model. - If the sale is done through public auction, the initial price will be 50% estimated value. If we choose for model of sealed bids, the highest bid will be accepted which must be higher than half of the estimated value of the property – trustee in bankruptcy of Jugoremedija says.
