Slovenia to sign contract on construction of Južni Tok in July

Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša and Russian President Dmitrij Medvedev have expressed political readiness for successful realization of project Južni Tok, and the agreement on that investment, as it was explained, is expected in July.

- We really want that possibility, but within ecological and legal frameworks - said Janša after the talk with Russian President.

Janša added that the project was very favorable to Slovenia because it enables access to required energy source, business opportunity for construction and benefit from transit of that part of gas that Slovenia will not need.
