Record results of Hesteel since coming to Serbia – May revenues amount to USD 77 million

Hesteel realized sales of more than 120,000 tons of final steel products in May, as well as revenues of around USD 77 million, marking its biggest success in the past year in which it has been present in Serbia.

As said by the company, the result has been achieved thanks to dedicated and well-synchronized work of all the employees, but also the fact that Hesteel has been recognized as a serious producer of steel. The strategy of improving the quality of products at the moment when the market is struggling with low prices, client trust and continuity of the presence of the products in the market have been the goals to strive for in the past year. Furthermore, the global power of the integration of resources and well organized work following the takeover of the factory in Smederevo have contributed to this significant success.

Hesteel expects this to be a record-setting year in many aspects, which will be shown in the coming months, primarily thanks to new investments, the value of which amounts to USD 150 million, the press release says.
