Owner of company "Swisslion Takovo" bought Croatian factory "Euro Food Market"

Rodoljub Drašković, the owner of company "Swisslion Takovo", has bought Croatian company "Euro Food Markt" from Sisak through which he intends to reinforce his position on this market. Company "Euro food Markt" deals with production of biscuits, as well as processing of fruit and vegetables.

In his statement for magazine Biznis, Rodoljub Drašković says that, although "Swisslion" is already present in Croatia through market chain "Konzum", purchase of "Euro Food Markt" will be a great opportunity for development of "Swisslion" brands and production of various products of this concern.

Drašković said that the purchase price of this company was 20m EUR and that it included investments worth 10m EUR, which should be placed in "Euro food Markt" by the end of year 2008.

- Takeover of this company will significantly reinforce position of "Swisslion", as well as our presence in south Europe - says Drašković.
