German companies are very interested in cooperating with Serbia and Russia in production and production facilities of German companies in Serbia thanks to the advantage Serbia has when it comes to export, as it has signed a free trade agreement with Russia, Marko Cadez, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, said at SPIEF.

– I've had a meeting with the chairman of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations. We have been cooperating a lot with them and they are interested in cooperation of Serbia, Germany and Russia – Cadez said.

He explained in his statement for Tanjug that the export of medical drugs of Hemofarm, owned by the German Stada Group, to the Russian market had grown by 70% and that an increasing number of markets and companies were interested in such possibilities.

– This means that we can expect more direct investments, but also more instances of cooperation. It's not a coincidence that so many German companies have come to Serbia to look for subcontractors to produce in Serbia using their license – Cadez said.
