The main event of this year's 51st Bitef, which takes place in the final week of September, will be the guest performance of Mount Olympus, by the renowned Flemish director and choreographer Jan Fabre, considered to be one of the most important authors of the global artistic scene on the whole. Prior to Belgrade, this play was performed only a few times, at the biggest global festivals: Vienna, Berlin, Avignon, Amsterdam, Jerusalem...

The play Mount Olympus lasts for 24 hours without interruption. Thirty top dancers, actors and performers from various countries take part in it. No effort is required from the audience aside from freeing themselves of everyday shackles and surrendering themselves to the joint energetic, emotional, spiritual and aesthetic experience.

Considering the fact that the organizers are aware that the play is demanding both physically and mentally, the audience will be allowed to sleep and rest at night in the lobbies of Sava Centar, where Mount Olympus is to be performed.

The members of the audience will get a stamp or an armband allowing them to enter and exit the hall whenever they please.
