Fiat, Hesteel and Tigar remain biggest exporters from Serbia

The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia, the Hesteel Serbia steel mill and the Pirot-based company Tigar Tyres are heading the list of the top 15 Serbian exporters in the first four months of 2017, with Hesteel’s export, as the Ministry of Financed reported, being more than double that of the corresponding period of 2016.
The total value of the export of the top 15 companies in the January-April period amounts to EUR 1.4 billion, with the top three contributing nearly a half, more precisely, EUR 685.3 million.
Fiat is still the undisputed leader, with EUR 382.2 million, followed by Hesteel, with EUR 183.2 million, and Tigar Tyres, with exports worth EUR 119.9 million.
Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) is in the fourth spot (EUR 87.6 million), followed by Tetra Pak (EUR 73.2 million) and MK Group (EUR 63.9 million), the sixth biggest local exporter, according to the May report of the Ministry of Finance, titled “The Current Macroeconomic Trends”.
HIP Petrohemija Pancevo placed seventh, with exports worth EUR 61.8 million, followed by Leoni Prokuplje, with EUR 58 million.
The Roberth Bosch company, whose exports amounted to EUR 57 million, placed ninth, whereas Hemofarm Vrsac placed tenth, with exports worth EUR 54.9 million in the first four months of 2017.
Yura Raca dropped one spot, placing 11th, with exports worth EUR 54.2 million.
RTB Bor remained in the 12th spot (EUR 53.2 million), followed by Gorenje (RSD 50.7 million) and the Victoria Group (EUR 50.2 million). The list of the top 15 Serbian exporters is rounded up by the Indjija-based company Grundfos Serbia, with exports worth EUR 47.5 million in the first four months of 2017.
