Serbian air transportation company "Jat Airways" has increased the prices of transportation in charter traffic and on some regular lines today (June 23, 2008) because the tax on kerosene was increased.

Prices in charter traffic have been increased by 8 - 14 EUR, while one-way tickets on regular lines cost 1 - 7 EUR more than before.

Taxes on fuels and their increase are not the same for every destination because the prices of jet fuel are not the same at all airports, and neither are taxes on fuels, which JAT must have in mind.

Serbian national airliner points out that "Jat's" tariffs remained the same, as well as the level and quality of services.
