Revoking of exile imposed on Dante

The City Council of Florence has decided to revoke 700-year-old exile of Italian poet Dante Alighieri.

The City Council has invited the Mayor of Florence to organize public rehabilitation of the author of "Divine Comedy", who was sentenced to lifetime exile under the death threat.

The Mayor got the task to organize public celebration where old sentence would be revoked and the highest respects paid to the celebrated poet. Declaration should be handed to one of Dante's descendants.
