"Konzum" and "Plodovi zemlje-Matijević" to found companies for purchase of fruit and vegetables in Serbia and Macedonia

Croatian market chain "Konzum", a member of "Agrokor" concern, works together with company "Plodovi zemlje-Matijević" Ltd. on founding two companies that will be dealing with purchase of fruit and vegetables in Serbia and Macedonia.

According to the announcement of "Konzum", which was published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, the company in Serbia will be operating under the name of "Plodovi zemlje" and its headquarters will be in Futog, while the company in Macedonia will be called "Anska Reka - Nova dooel" and its headquarters will be in Valandovo.

Company "Plodovi zemlje-Matijević" from Donji Miholjac in Podravina, Croatia, is, by the way, 50% owned by "Konzum".

The basic capital of both companies in founding amounts to 5,000 EUR. The founder will be company "Plodovi zemlje-Matijević".

"Agrokor", the property of businessman Ivica Todorić, owns Belgrade-based factory of ice-cream and frozen fruit and vegetables "Frikom", Zrenjanin-based oil factory "Dijamant", "Kikindski mlin" and market chain "Idea".
