Zlatibor region has 500 unregistered wood-processing companies - only 10% of such companies registered

In the municipalities of the Zlatibor region where wood processing can be a profitable economic branch thanks to forest wealth, there are about 500 unregistered economic subjects that make about 90% of total number of wood-processing companies.

This was stated at the meeting of the Board for Forestry and Industry within the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Užice, at the promotion of manual book "How and Why to Register Wood-processing Company", which is published by the General Association of Entrepreneurs of Užice in association with the Chamber, Zlatibor region and Lumber Camp Užice.

According to the words of the President of Užice's Association of Entrepreneurs, Slavko Lukić, this manual contains all legal regulations that should be obeyed in lumber industry.
