"Hemofarm" took over another 13% of stocks of "Zorka Pharma" for 10.85m EUR - total share of "Hemofarm" increased to 90.51%

Pharmaceutical company "Hemofarm" from Vršac has announced today (June 18, 2008) that it took over 12.73% of stocks of company "Zorka Pharma" from Šabac for 863.7m RSD, that is, 10.85m EUR.

According to the Report about takeover of stocks, published in "Politika", "Hemofarm" took over 699,341 stocks at price of 1,235 RSD per stock and increased its share in "Zorka Pharma" to 90.51%.

"Hemofarm" planned to take over 22.2% of stocks between May 26 and June 16 and, thus, become the only owner of "Zorka Pharma". According to the data provided by the Central Securities Registry, minor stockholders of "Hemofarm" now own less than 0.7% of stocks.

"Zorka Pharma" has 5.5m stocks whose price amounted to 1,300 RSD per stock on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on June 17. Market value of the company was 7.14 billion RSD, which is 500m RSD more than on May 23, which was the last day of trading before the announcement of public invitation for takeover of stocks.

"Zorka Pharma" ended last year with 444.6m RSD worth of profit, 115m RSD more than in 2006. Business incomes amounted to 2.1 billion RSD. The company plans to realize 1 billion RSD worth of incomes in the first half of year 2008.
