Paracin-based Mihajlovic dairy starts exporting to Russia

The dairy of Poslovni Sistem Mihajlovic from Paracin has started exporting to the Russian Federation, stated owner Dejan Mihajlovic. The company already exports dairy products to Macedonia, Montenegro and B&H.

– We have been exporting to Montenegro and Macedonia for two years, and now the first shipment has left for Russia – he said to the press and added that the first results were good and that he hoped that the Russians would prove to be significant customers in the future.

The Mihajlovic dairy started operating in 2001 in a reconstructed facility in Krivi Vir, in the municipality of Boljevac. In 2003, it built a new facility in Paracin, which features modern equipment and has a capacity of 30,000 liters of milk a day.

It complies with ISO and HACCP standards and it received an export control classification number for export to countries outside the EU in 2009 from the Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia.

The dairy has ten retail outlets in Serbia, and they are currently negotiating with Delhaize so that their products might be made available in Maxi stores.

The Mihajlovic dairy produces soured milk, sour cream, various types of cheeses...

– Although Poslovni Sistem Mihajlovic is recognizable for its trade, its gas stations, TV Kanal M, I believe that the future lies in production, without which a healthy state system is impossible – Mihajlovic said.
