"WAZ" to get another executive manager - Christian Nienhaus to join Bodo Hombach starting July 1st

Christian Nienhaus will become the Executive Manager of "WAZ" group on July 1st and, together with Executive Manager Bodo Hombach, he will run European media company with the headquarters in Essen.

WAZ, which has 16,000 employees in nine European countries, registers turnover larger than 1.7 billion EUR with its regional newspapers, magazines and electronic media.

WAZ publishes six newspapers in Serbia, including "Politika" and "Sportski Žurnal". It also publishes magazine "Oglasne novine".

Media Manager Nienhaus was the Chairman of the Administration of newspaper publishing group "Bild".

- Nienhaus represents the ideal supplement and fresh force for the management of the group. We want to stimulate further development of our media group together- said Hombach who represents the Brost family in the management for six years. Nienhaus was appointed by the Funke family.
