Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and "Universiade Belgrade 2009" signed protocol on cooperation - great economic opportunity for local companies and suppliers

Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (PKS) and company "Universiade Belgrade 2009" have signed the protocol on cooperation today (June 17, 2008), which anticipates Chamber's support in the organization of that manifestation.

The Protocol was signed by the President of PKS, Miloš Bugarin, and Executive Manager of "Universiade Belgrade 2009", Siniša Jasnić.

On that occasion, Jasnić said that all tenders announced during organization of that sports event would be published on the web sites of the Government of Serbia, "Universiade" and PKS.

- This event is a great opportunity for Serbia's economy, which should promote its products in that way - said Jasnić.

Bugarin pointed out that "Universiade" was the great opportunity for Serbia to improve its reputation in the world.

He invited entrepreneurs to participate in "Universiade" as suppliers to apply for open competitions for public procurements because it is a great economic opportunity for local enterprises and manufacturers.

"Universiade", which will be organized in Belgrade in 2009, will gather about 12,000 participants from 170 countries who will compete in 21 sports disciplines. This sports event will also gather about 15,000 volonteers.
