"Delta" opened hypermarket worth 4m EUR in Bulgarian city of Varna

Serbian "Delta holding" has announced today (June 12, 2008) that it opened a hypermarket in Bulgarian city of Varna within market chain "Piccadilly", of which majority owner is "Delta".

Total of 4m EUR was invested in hypermarket whose gross surface is 5,000 square meters.

The new store is the 13th "Piccadilly" facility, it is settled in the largest trade center in Bulgaria and it is the first store that "Delta" opened by itself ever since it entered Bulgarian market.

"Delta" plans to open another 8 hypermarkets and supermarkets in Bulgaria by the end of year 2008.

This hypermarket was opened by the Mayor of Varna, Kiril Jordanov, and the Executive Manager of "Piccadilly", Aleksandar Čamparević, in the presence of President of "Delta Holding", Miroslav Mišković.

"Delta's" retail company "Delta Maxi" is having a distributive center built in Sofia, which should be completed prior to April 2009.
