"Heineken" to buy Zaječar and Pančevo brewers from "Efes"

Famous Dutch beer manufacturer ”Heineken" will buy 72% of Zaječar Brewer and Pančevo Brewer from “Efes”.

The capacity of Pančevo Brewer is about 0.5m hl a year, while the brewery in Zaječar can produce up to 1m hl. When the factory recently bought from "Rodić", which annually produces about 1.3m hl, is added to these two brewers, ”Heineken" will become the second largest beer manufacturer in Serbia with the capacity of 2.8m hl (right behind Apatin Brewer whose capacity is 4.5m hl, while last year’s production amounted to about 3.5m hl).

In the future, all these companies will operate under the name of ”Heineken Srbija".
