Agreement on raising water factory in Kikinda soon – KfW to finance construction with EUR 6 million

The Government of Serbia has provided an affirmative opinion about the cooperation with the German bank KfW, which should finance the construction of a water factory in Kikinda with EUR 6 million, and the agreement should be signed by the end of May.

Afterwards, the German development bank will also sign an agreement with the Public Enterprise Kikinda, upon which the preparation of the project of the construction of the long-expected water factory will begin.

PE Kikinda has also enabled electronic water consumption measurement. In line with this, the water delivery and waste water disposal bills will include codes to be used in reporting water meter readings.

This service will only be available to owners of individual water meters, of which there are 18,675 in the territory of the City of Kikinda.
