Yazaki factory to start operating in Vrsac in June 2017 – Japanese car cable producer completing construction of facility

The completion of the construction of the Japanese car cable producer Yazaki's factory in Vrsac, where 300 people are already employed, is expected to happen in May, and it could start operating in June already, Ambassador of Japan Juichi Takahara announced at the meeting with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, as reported by the official website of the Government of Serbia.

As stated, there's been a considerable progress in relations between Serbia and Japan, especially through economic cooperation.

The ambassador also announced the upcoming arrival of the delegation of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), which, as he said, is proof of increased interest of Japanese businessmen in investing in Serbia.
