Purchasing power in Serbia is falling - price of average basket of commodities in April larger by 4.3%

According to the research conducted by the Ministry of Trade and Services, in spite of rise in average monthly wage, purchasing power of citizens of Serbia registered fall in April .

The date provided by the REpublic Statistics Institute show that the price of average basket of commodities in April amounted to 32,651 RSD and that it was increased by 4.3% against March, while the price of minimum basket of commodities was 20,863 RSD and it was 4.7% higher than in March.

Total expenses for food products were increased in both baskets - by 1,328 RSD in average basket and by 927 in minimum basket of commodities.
