USAID backed participation of 3 production companies from Serbia in "Marche du Film" - expected investments to exceed 16m EUR

USAID's Project for development of competitiveness has backed participation of three movie production companies from Serbia - "Art i Popcorn", "Testament Films" and "Dream Company", in "Marche du Film" festival and "Producers' network" in Cannes, between May 13 and 20.

The movie production companies from Serbia led negotiations with companies from Germany, Austria, Hungary and France about co-production, distribution and promotion of movies from our country. They signed the contract on shooting of TV series (52 episodes) in cooperation with BiH and Croatia, while the negotiations about series that should be shot in Serbia in co-production with Croatia, Austria and Germany are underway.

It is expected that these contracts will bring investments worth more than 16m EUR in the next few months.
