The production in the MB brewery tripled, the capacity of 4.2 mil hl the greatest in the region, export into 14 countries

The production capacity of the MB brewery is 1.2 million hectoliters, and during August a new part of the factory will start working, which will enlarge the capacity of the brewery for the additional 3.000.000 hl, reaching the capacity of 4.200.000 hl and the status of the greatest brewery in the region.

MB brewery is the “owner” of European production certificates – ISO 9001 – 2000, for the quality of production process, and the quality standard HACCP and the health of the product, which it acquired in Serbia and Montenegro the first.

The company has its own plant for waste water cleaning, with the process of aero decomposure (aerobic decomposure of organic waste), and the process of building a new plant for anaerobic decomposure is currently on; it would turn the waste into the methane and burn further in a safe and harmless way. By the end of the year the MB brewery should get another very important certificate. The word goes about the certificate for ecology ISO 14000.

MB brewery is a successful export company, exporting into 14 countries in the world among which there are: Italy, Austria, Germany, England, France, Hungary, and even the far away Australia, as well as the countries of the former SFRY…

MB brewery is equipped with the equipment of the world leading producers “Crones” and “Steineker”. The production is completely automatic, including the latest technology and the best quality raw materials imported from France and Germany.

The quality beer is packed into the same quality package. Out of the total production capacity of the brewery, the capacity of the first line (glass package of 0.33, 0.5 and 0.33l “twist off”) is 42.000 bottles per hour. The second line works at the capacity of 60.000 glass bottles of 0.5l and ALE 0.5l per hour, and the third line has the filling capacity of 60.000 glass bottles “twist off” of 0.33l per hour, too. There is a separate line for filling the KEG barrels and there we have the capacity of 60 barrels per hour (barrels contain 30 and 50 liters), and PET line which fills 15.000 plastic bottles of 0.33, 0.65 and 2l per hour.

In the first year the result of the sales was 15% of the market share in S&M. In 2005, during the very first three months, it reached more than 20% of the market share. (Review)
