"Perutnina Ptuj" took over another 2.13% of stocks of "Topiko"

- The manufacturer of
poultry and poultry products "Perutnina Ptuj" in Serbia
has taken over additional 2.13% of stocks of company "Topiko" from Bačka Topola for 4.1m RSD - Central Securities Registry announced.
"Perutnina
Ptuj Ltd. Belgrade", of which majority owner is Slovenian company "Perutnina", owns
13.4% or 3,569 stocks of manufacturer of poultry and poultry products "Topiko", that
is, total of 53.03% of stocks along with the related companies.
Belgrade-based "Perutnina" increased its share in "Topiko" on the basis of the offer for takeover of stocks in the period between May 6 and 26, at price of 7,200 RSD per piece.
Another stockholder of Topiko’s, with 39.6% of capital in its property, is poultry equipment manufacturer "Tehnooprema" from Zrenjanin, of which owner is Slovenian "Perutnina", while company "Novi Tamiš" from Pančevo, of which owner and CEO is Andrija Krlović, owns 38.48% of stocks.
Other stockholders have less than 1.5% of stocks each.
Last year, "Topiko" operated with a loss amounting to 337.84m RSD, which is 129% more than in 2006. The incomes were reduced by 15%, to 1.58 billion RSD, while the expenses amounted to 1.69 billion RSD.
"Perutnina Ptuj" registered 45.05m RSD worth of profit in Serbia in 2006, while the data for year 2007 have not been published yet. Slovenian "Perutnina" from Ptuj is the owner of 70% of stocks of that company, while 30% belong to CEO Milorad Đokić.
