Chinese interested in Belgrade metro and shopping centres

A delegation from the Chinese province of Hunan and the leaders of the city of Belgrade signed a letter of intent yesterday on cooperation, and among other things discussed the construction of the metro, residential complexes and retail outlets in the Serbian capital, reports Beoinfo.

Secretary of the Committee of Hunan province Du Jiahao noted that they have reached an agreement on future cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education and health.

– During the meeting we discussed everything that has been or that is being built in Belgrade in cooperation with Chinese companies. The representatives of Hunan province met with the Prime Minister and ministers of the Serbian government. It is extremely important for the City of Belgrade to continue our successful economic cooperation, but also to improve cooperation with our Chinese friends in the field of education and culture – says Deputy Mayor Andreja Mladenovic.
