New "Volvo" service center opened in Novi Banovci

Company "Volvo Beograd" opened the new service center for trucks on May 28, 2008, in Novi Banovci, worth mor than 4m EUR.

The premises of Volvo-truck corporation, Volvo-bus corporation and financial services will be settled in the new building. Opening of the Service center marked the tenth anniversary of successful operations of company "Volvo Beograd".

The Post-sales Manager, Nenad Perišić, said that the Center consisted of two levels where all activities were united, from the sale of new vehicles to the servicing and sale of spare parts for trucks and buses "Volvo".

The service shop is at the surface of 1,500 square meters and it will be open every day between 8 AM and 4 PM and, starting from autumn, between 8 AM and 6 PM.

Perišić explained that the Service shop had five passages, two canals 25 meters long for repairs and preventive inspections, and 12 trucks can be overhauled at the same time.

Manager of company "Volvo Beograd", Markus Horberg, said that Serbia was exceptionally important market for "Volvo" and that they had doubled the sales in 2007.
