Messer Tehnogas management proposes dividend of RSD 250 per share – RSD 259 million for shareholders

The board of directors of Messer Tehnogas has scheduled the Annual General Meeting for May 26, 2017, where the adoption of financial reports and the decision on profit distribution will be on the agenda, among other items.

Messer Tehnogas' last year's non-consolidated profit amounts to slightly above a billion dinars, whereas the company's retained earnings and last year's profit amount to close to RSD 11 billion.

The management proposed a dividend of RSD 259.2 million, that is, RSD 250 per share, with May 16 set as the record date.

This is a considerable reduction compared to the previous year, when the company decided to pay out RSD 1,801 per share. If the AGM approves the dividend, it will be paid out on September 15, 2017.

The dividend yield is 2.2% at the current price of RSD 11,463, Wisebroker reports.
