Government of Serbia expects deficit of EUR 150 million in 2017

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has stated that he expects a minimal deficit this year and that he is convinced that this economic indicator will be better in Serbia than in 90% of the EU countries.

He reminded that the deficit for 2017, projected by the National Assembly and the IMF, was around EUR 600 million. However, as he pointed out, it won’t even reach EUR 150 million.

– We will try to make it even better – Vucic emphasized and pointed out that good economic indicators enabled the government to make interventions, such as the one in Gosa.
