Value of bills sent for the Take the Bill and Win sweepstakes RSD 70 billion – Budget income EUR 9 million

A total of 8,565,007 envelopes were sent by the citizens of Serbia as part of the Take the Bill and Win sweepstakes, and the sent bills amount to at least RSD 70 billion, of which direct budget income exceeds EUR 9 million, it was reported on Saturday, April 8, by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

As stated, each citizen sent an average of 1.2 envelopes, and the organizers estimate that between 25 and 40% of the populace took part in the sweepstakes.

The prize fund features 742 prizes amounting to RSD 135,344,181.46. A total of 548 award confirmations were issued and 351 prizes were taken, among which four apartments and 49 Fiat 500L cars, by Friday, April 7.
