Company "Zdravlje Actavis" plans to enlarge export within next two years from current 16 to 75% of total production - the CEO of the Leskovac-based factory, Goran Stojilković, announced.
- We expect European certification of good production standards (EUGPM) by the end of the year, which will open the doors of the markets of 62 countries - said Stojilković.
He estimated that the annual incomes of that company would be increased from 50 to 200m EUR, 150m EUR of which would be the profit realized on foreign markets.
Iceland-based company "Actavis", which bought "Zdravlje" in 2003 for 3.5m EUR, invested 33m EUR in that factory and, according to the contract, it was obliged to invest 20m EUR.
The money was invested in modernization of production, while the information on operations of "Zdravlje Actavis", according to the words of Stojilković, show that that was one of the most successful privatizations in Serbia.
"Zdravlje Actavis", which produces drugs, medical and cosmetic preparations, has recently been awarded three certificates for the highest standards of quality, environment protection and workers' health and industrial safety.
Following the obtaining of EU certification of standards of good manufacturing practice, as Stojiljković explained, the complete process of production of modern generic preparations will be among the most modern in the region.
