Alcatel to take part in broadening of fixed telephony network on Kosovo - €17m

The contract between Postal Company and Telekom of Kosovo (PTK) and French company Alcatel on broadening of fixed telephony network on Kosovo has been signed in Priština. The value of the contract is €17m. The aim of the contract signing is offering of additional services to the users of fixed telephony network. This contract is part of services included by the working license of PTK.

The tariffs for fixed and mobile telephony on Kosovo are the highest in Europe, so that Alcatel will try to lower the prices. French company Alcatel is carrier of all business in Kosovo Mobile Telephony - Valja 900.
