"Šinvoz" has bright future - offer of French company "Lohr" presented

- Production of railway cars is, in our opinion, the business that has a bright future. We hold 70% of production of road trailers in the world, we own military industry and produce equipment for subways and trams and that is why we want to start production in"Šinvoz" - Borislav Vesnić, the councilor of French company "Lohr" in Serbia, pointed out yesterday, on the occasion of presentation of the company in the Chamber of Commerce of Zrenjanin.

He claims that "Lohr" would hire workers even if the reorganization plan was adopted, the request for which had been submitted by the companies led Belgrade-based TTC "Logistic".

- The capacity and the quality of manpower in Serbia are excellent and one of the reasons is the good experience in Bačka Topola where we started production, hire 200 workers and ivnested 3m EUR, all that within one year, and we want to keep on investing. We have been negotiating with the trade unions from "Šinvoz" for two years now and the negotiations got intensified in November 2007 and I claim that our intentions are serious. The letter of intent has been sent to the Ministry of Economy, Court of Commerce and City of Zrenjanin - says Vesnić.

According to his estimate, "Šinvoz" has an opportunity to work again and "Lohr" plans to found a new company that will be called "Lohr-Zrenjanin" and to organize training for managers in two weeks. That is why they require the assistance from the authorized people and that is why an appeal was sent to everybody who have some influence to help the arrival of "Lohr" in Zrenjanin.

The representatives of the trade unions of "Šinvoz" and the Council of the Independent trade union in Zrenjanin have invited political parties in Zrenjanin to fulfill their pre-elections promises and help citizens of Zrenjanin get jobs.
