Komercijalna Banka publishes 2016 results

According to the data from the NBS website, the largest local state-owned bank’s financial results are negative, with the loss reaching RSD 8.06 billion.
The Komercijalna Banka press release reminds that the balance reached EUR 3.2 billion at the end of 2016, a growth of 1.7% compared to 2015.
Looking by share capital, Komercijalna Banka takes second place in the market, the capital adequacy ratio is 26.97%, far above, as they say, the regulatory limit of 12% prescribed by the National Bank of Serbia. Looking by assets, according to the latest published data, Komercijalna Banka owns around 13% of the Serbian banking market.
Komercijalna Banka approved loans in the amount of RSD 31.6 billion in 2016, which is 27% more compared to 2015, whereas a growth of around 30% was recorded in crediting micro enterprises and approving agricultural and housing loans, the bank’s press release says.
An increase in savings deposits of EUR 21 million was recorded and the savings at Komercijalna Banka amounted to EUR 1.59 billion at the end of 2016.
It is also stated that, in 2016, all operating parameters were still far above the limits prescribed by the Law on Banks. The bank has met all its obligations, which indicates stable and steady operations and confirms the fact that Komercijalna Banka is a highly capitalized and stable institution, characterized by the great trust of its clients, the press release says.
As Wisebroker reports, Komercijalna Banka’s shares recorded a drop of 2.1% to RSD 1,717 in the trade of the day before, bringing the company’s market value at RSD 28.9 billion (around EUR 233 million).
