The bilateral talks were held today at the CCIS within the project of the Suppliers Initiative of German Companies from North Rhine-Westphalia.
The German companies Airbus, Miele, MV Engineering GmbH, Mosca GmbH, SMS Group GmbH, Oelde GmbH, Hettich Management Service GmbH, Koebo GmbH, IFM Electronic GmbH and Herwarth Reich GmbH took part in the talks.
Aleksandar Djordjevic of the company Rap Zastava, which produces components for fishing and research vessels, attended the talks at CCIS stimulated by his previous positive experience.
– We took part in the Suppliers Day for Siemens and became a part of the German company's global supply network – Djordjevic explained.
– When we started these activities, we couldn't imagine that there were so many companies in Serbia capable of producing high quality components in line with international standards – said the director of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Martin Knapp.
Marko Cadez, president of the CCIS, says that ”it is in the interest of Serbian companies, especially small and medium ones, to penetrate foreign markets, to connect with international companies, especially those from the most developed economy in Europe, to become a part of big supply systems, to grow, increase their capacities and constantly improve the quality of their products and processes, strengthen their competitiveness, so that they could keep those arrangements and get new projects”.
He pointed out that foreign companies could count on Serbian producers as reliable suppliers and partners, as Serbia had a long industrial tradition, whereas the companies had knowledge necessary for cooperating with foreign partners.
The president of CCIS reminded that Eberspacher had signed a contract with the Kragujevac-based company Teknia and that negotiations with Gomma Line and Agromehanika were in progress.
