MapSoft redesigns internet maps – 3D view available to users

Having recognized the desires and needs of internet map users on time, the Belgrade-based company MapSoft decided to offer a part of its spatial data for free ten years ago, much before certain, now world-renowned, companies.

The Maps of Serbia system was installed then, providing the only overview of the real spatial layout for many. Due to an inflow of new data and the implementation of new technologies, the company has decided to redesign the maps and a 3D view has also been introduced as an option, MapSoft reported.

One of the most important characteristics of the map is that the most detailed view of the Belgrade area available now features house numbers, setting the map apart from the competition.

Users can choose between a conventional map and an orthophoto view, while adjusting the degree of transparency. The maps are available for all devices at mape.b92.net and mapsofserbia.com.

MapSoft also makes wall maps (2x2 m) for its users, the company reminds.
