Company "Bio energy point", owned by Zoran Drakulić's "East point", intends to start production of high-calorie, ecologically clean fuel of fire-wood and sawdust in the new factory in Boljevac at the beginning of August.

According to the words of Dragan Stojanović, the CEO of "Bio energy point", construction of five such factories is in the pipeline and 3m EUR will be invested in each of them. Construction of the second factory will, most probably, start before the end of the year.

The first consumers of this fuel, as Stojanović points out, will be the heating plants in Belgrade, which currently use coal.

- The use of this fuel will reduce pollution in the city center and expenses of disposal of slag, which remains after coal burns, as well as many other savings - Stojanović explained.

This fuel can also be used by individual households, but in special furnaces and heating boilers, as well as by companies that spend large quantity of coal and crude oil.
