Jagodina welcomes opening of Lianhe, slippers production plant - Chinese investors to hire 40 people

Factory for production of rubber slippers Lianhe of Chinese investor, which will employ 40 workers, was opened in Jagodina on Sunday, March 19, 2017.

The factory was officially opened by Mayor Dragan Markovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy Dragan Grgurevic and counselor at the Embassy of China in San Hijadong.For a start, the factory employed 20 workers and it will later employ as many, Markovic said and pointed out that their salary totals RSD 25,000 but that it will increase on monthly basis.He outlined that two businessmen from China did not ask any incentives from the city or the state and stressed out that every vacancy is important for Serbia and Jagodina.The factory operates in the space of former Trade company Morava on 1,000 square meters. One shift in that factory produces from 1200 to 1800 pairs of rubber slippers. The products are intended for Serbian market and for export.
