Google enables direct video streaming through Gmail
Google has started seriously upgrading Gmail. Receiving emails of up to 50MB was first enabled, and a direct video streaming option has now been established.
Up till now, Gmail users first needed to download video messages and then play them. Video content can now be shown within the email itself.
Video will start playing in a player similar to that of YouTube at a double-click.
Users will be able to adjust the speed, while keeping an optimal level of quality.
To repeat, in early March, the capacity of files that can be received through Gmail was increased to 50MB (previously 25MB), but only for incoming mails, not outgoing ones.
