2,5 mil EUR invested in Subotica based “Azotara”

General director of Subotica based “Azotara’, Gojko Djukic stated yesterday (May, 12th, 2008) that after investment of 2,5 mil EUR, this company was developing according to the plan in all areas of production of complex non organic and nitrogen fertilizers.
At the press conference in Novi Sad fair, Djukic said that since November, 2006, when “Azohem” from Subotica became the owner of “Azotara”, this company restarted the production of several types of complex fertilizers.
- Today “Azotara” is a unique technical-technological unity for production of complex non organic and nitrogen fertilizers, with planned capacity of 700 tones of fertilizers per day, said Djukic.
He announced that “Azotara” was soon planning to offer to the market new types of fertilizers.
According to his words, the plan of 2008 is production of 200.000 tones of fertilizers, out of which half would be exported, mostly to the countries in the region.
- At the moment there are 150 people employed in “Azotara”, who daily produce around 700 tones of fertilizers, which is a total of 1.500 tones of ready made products – said Djukic.
“Azohem” company is involved in export of wheat, corn and beetroot in the countries of the region and in the countries of Western Europe.
