Entire circulation of “Takovske novine” sold in just a few minutes – people bought “packages”

Yesterday (May, 08th, 2008) morning, in Gornji Milanovac, local newspapers “Takovske novine”, in circulation of 2.900 copies, was completely sold.

Editor-In-Chief, Vlade Vujovic said, that as soon as the newspapers arrived to the stands, unknown buyers immediately took entire packages. At one stand, the saleswoman asked one buyer for the reasons why he was buying the entire edition, and he responded that “some journalist wrote nonsense”.

Editor-In-Chief said that in the yesterday’s edition they published pre-elections materials of the parties, and that he didn’t understand why it brought such attention. At the office of “Takovske novine” they were preparing to print the new edition in 3.000 copies and to distribute them before midnight, in the period of pre-election silence.

One copy costs 30 RSD.
