Factory for production of healthy food opened in Backi Petrovac – investment worth 53,7 milion RSD

A new factory for production of healthy food from cereals was opened in Backi Petrovac, within the company “Alt Ener”.

This project is worth 53,7 mil RSD, out of which 25,68 was invested by the Provincial secretariat for science and technological development within the strategic program for introduction of new technologies.

It will hire about 170 workers, in the factory itself, and through cooperation.

It is planned to have production of 7.000 tones of healthy food per year, and total profit of about 2,5 mil EUR.

These products are also used in confectionery industry, and even before the factory was finished, deals were made about their export to Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
