Port “Belgrade” reached bigger profit for 88,8%,

Port "Belgrade" announced that it had reached a profit of 7,74 billions RSD, in 2007, which is more than 88,8% than the year before.
In the Belgrade’s stock exchange brochure it is written that Port’s incomes have been increased for 67,76%, to 1,73 billions RSD, and expenses for 61,9% to 1,71 billions RSD. The profit of the company has increased for 14,5% to 1.100 RSD, per share.
Active was increased for 87,83% to 7,1 billions RSD, while the value of the capital jumped for 63,3% to 3,43 billions RSD. Obligations were more than doubled and have reached 3,68 billions RSD.
Port “Belgrade” owns 173.149 sqm of space in Belgrade and 300 hectares of land in the coasts of the Danube and Sava river. The second Municipality court in Belgrade has reached a decision on April, 2nd, about registration of about 100 hectares of land, whose user is Port “Belgrade”, in the benefit of the City of Belgrade.
According to the media, the owners of the Port, Miroslav Miskovic and Milan Beko, have been planning to build on that land residential-business complex.
Port “Belgrade” is in the ownership of an investment fund with 93,64% shares. The fund is registered in Luxembourg “Worldfin”, which has bought the majority share package of 74,79% of shares in 2005, for the price of 800 RSD per share.
“Belgrade” Port has 6,97 millions shares, and it has been using them for trade since March, 29th, 2007, for singular price of 3.200 RSD.
