At midnight, fuel prices went up for 2,74 RSD

Motor fuel at all gas stations in Serbia went up for 2,74 RSD, while diesel fuel went up for 3,21 RSD per liter. The price of motor fuel and non-leads motor fuel of 95 octane has been increased from 98,84 RSD to 101,49 RSD per liter.

The price of diesel D-2 has been increased from 83,98 to 86,90 RSD per liter, eko 3 diesel from 87,49 to 90,59 RSD per liter, euro diesel from 91,58 to 94,89 RSD per liter. Heating oil went from 76,54 RSD to 80,26 RSD per liter.

Considering that it has passed 15 days since the last change of oil price, and that it grew by 5,25%, Ministry of mining and energetic made a request for new prices to the Ministry of trade and services and to the Ministry of finances, and got approval from them, to sell the fuel in Serbia gas stations by higher prices.

The last change of fuel prices was on April, 19th, when the fuel got cheaper by 4,35% on average, when motor fuel was decreased for 2,38 RSD, and diesel fuels for 2,78 RSD.

By the legal act about formation of basic price for oil derivates, it is determined that domestic fuel prices should be adjusted on every 15 days with the oil price at the world market and according American dollar rate, in case if oil price has changed for 1,5%, regardless weather the price was increased or decreased.

In cases when oil price has been changed, Ministry of mining and energetic sends a request to the Ministry of trade and to the Ministry of finances for application of the old price list.

Only after getting their approval and after publication of the new price list in the “Executive gazette”, all conditions are met so the fuel can be sold by the new prices.

“Petrol industry of Serbia” announced the day before yesterday that fuel price will not be changed in their gas stations, as new oil derivates prices regulation was not published yet.
