Rehabilitation of oil reservoir in Požega to start - investment worth 2.5m EUR

- Minister of Trade and Services, Predrag Bubalo, and the CEO of the Republic Directorate for Buffer Stock, Slobodan Damnjanović, will open works from the second phase of reconstruction of oil reservoir today (May 5, 2008) in Požega - Ministry of Trade and Services announced.

The second phase of reconstruction worth 2.5m EUR will be financed by the Ministry and the Directorate. In this way, Serbia will get two completely prepared oil reservoirs, with the capacities of 10,000 cubic meters, which will meet all ecological standards of European Union concerning the storing of oil reserves for three-month needs.

This complex in Požega is the property of the Republic Directorate for Buffer Stock, which also announced tender for reconstruction of the other two reservoirs and the outcomes of that tender will be known in one month.
