Projected income of DIVR - 17.4m EUR

"Tobacco Industry Vranje" (DIVR), a part of company "British American Tobacco" (BAT), plans to realize income in amount of 17.37m EUR during the first six months of this year.

According to the data on the web site of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, total incomes of the Vranje cigarette factory in 2007 amounted to 5 billion RSD (about 62.5m EUR), which is 20% less than in 2006.

The incomes of cigarettes sales in 2007 amounted to 4.56 billion RSD (about 57m EUR), and that is 24% less than in 2006.

Tobacco Industry Vranje ended year 2007 with the loss in amount of 513m RSD (about 6.4m EUR), which is 3.3 times larger loss than in 2006.

The price of stock of Vranje-based tobacco factory on the Belgrade Stock Exchange is 8,947 RSD and it has not been either changed or traded during the past three months.

Market value of "Tobacco Industry Vranje", which was privatized in 2003, amounts to 8 billion RSD.
